The Emirates Quality Mark (EQM) is a product certification scheme that involves evaluating a product and its Quality Management System through testing and inspection.
The EQM Certificate of Conformity is a valid 3 year certificate for certified products, valid for shipments from Ports and Customs Authorities, and can be updated with additional models if they meet the same technical requirements.
Application rerquires
1. A current UAE industry or trade license
2. Conformity Declaration
3. A product test report that complies with the UAE Scheme’s requirements and any relevant product standards
4. Product Name
5. Each factory’s QMS handbook
6. Every factory’s quality plan
7. Each factory’s plant layout
8. A map of the factories’ surrounding areas
9. Additional Documents as Required
